  • 12 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 teaspoons hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Old Bay seasoning for garnish
  • Thinly sliced pickles for garnish
  • Celery leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil the eggs in a large pot of water for 12 minutes. Once done, transfer them to an ice bath for about 5 minutes.
  2. Carefully crack and peel the eggs under cool running water. Halve them and scoop out yolks into a medium bowl.
  3. Mix yolks with mayonnaise, lemon juice, horseradish, tomato paste, hot sauce, and celery seed until well combined. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Pipe the filling into each egg white half and garnish with Old Bay seasoning, pickle slices, and celery leaves.
