- 1.5 tbsp olive oil
- 1.25 lb ground beef
- 2.5 cups marinara sauce
- 10 oz mafalda pasta
- 4 cups beef broth
- 0.75 cup Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- 1.25 tsp salt
- 0.75 tsp black pepper
- 1.25 tbsp garlic powder
- 1.25 tbsp onion powder
- 1.25 tsp oregano
- 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned; season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and red pepper flakes.
- Stir in marinara sauce and beef broth; bring to a simmer.
- Add mafalda pasta, cover, and cook for about 10 minutes or until tender.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and top with mozzarella cheese.
- Cover again until the cheese melts (3-5 minutes) and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
