  • Old Bay seasoning

  • cayenne pepper
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • lemon juice
  • fresh thyme

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté onions, celery, and garlic for 3–4 minutes until softened.
  2. Add tomato paste and seasonings; cook for another 1–2 minutes.
  3. Stir in flour to create a roux; cook for about 1 minute.
  4. Gradually add broth while stirring; simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat and stir in cream, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and thyme; simmer gently for another 5 minutes.
  6. Fold in crab meat; heat for an additional 2–3 minutes without overcooking.
  7. Serve hot with crusty bread.
