Ingredients
- 2 heads garlic
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 8 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese (divided)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon fresh chopped parsley (for garnish)
- Crostini or crackers (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400℉. Cut off the top quarter inch of each garlic head.
- Drizzle olive oil on the garlic, wrap in foil, and roast for about 50 minutes until soft.
- Lower oven temperature to 350℉.
- Squeeze roasted garlic into a mixing bowl and mash until smooth.
- Mix in cream cheese and sour cream until well combined. Add mozzarella, half of the parmesan, salt, and pepper; stir until blended.
- Spread mixture into an 8×8 baking dish. Top with remaining parmesan.
