  • 1 Strawberry Cake Mix (15 oz)
  • 1 ½ cups Guava Nectar or Juice
  • 3 large eggs
  • â…“ cup Coconut Oil
  • 10 oz Cream Cheese
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 8 oz Cool Whip
  • 2 ½ cups Guava Nectar for glaze
  • ½ cup granulated sugar for glaze
  • 4 tbsp Cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, guava nectar, eggs, and coconut oil. Mix on medium speed for 2 minutes.
  3. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow cooling.
  4. Beat together cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth; fold in Cool Whip.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled cake.
  6. For the glaze, combine guava nectar, sugar, cornstarch mixed with water in a saucepan over medium heat until thickened; cool slightly before pouring over the cream cheese layer.
  7. Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
