  • 1½ cups seafood stock
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (for biscuits)
  • ½ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons cold butter, grated
  • â…“ cup whole milk (plus 1 tablespoon if needed)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives or parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and celery; cook until soft.
  3. Stir in flour to form a roux, then gradually whisk in seafood stock and cream until thickened.
  4. Add shrimp and lobster; cook until shrimp turn pink.
  5. Prepare biscuit dough by mixing flour, baking powder, garlic powder, salt, cold butter, cheese, and milk until just combined.
  6. Spoon seafood filling into ramekins or a baking dish; top with biscuit dough.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes until biscuits are golden brown.
