  • 1½ cups seafood stock

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (plus more for the biscuit topping)
  • ½ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons cold butter, grated
  • â…“ cup whole milk (plus 1 tablespoon if needed)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives or parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté onions, celery, and garlic until soft. Stir in flour to form a roux.
  3. Gradually whisk in seafood stock and heavy cream until smooth and slightly thickened. Season with Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add shrimp and cook until pink; stir in lobster meat and parsley.
  5. For the biscuit topping, mix flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt in a bowl. Cut in cold butter until crumbly; stir in cheese and milk until just combined.
  6. Spoon the filling into ramekins or a baking dish and drop biscuit dough on top.
