  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup chicken or seafood stock

Instructions

  1. Season the shrimp with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using). Set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt olive oil and butter. Add the onion, green bell pepper, and garlic; sauté until softened (about 5 minutes).
  3. Stir in the tomato paste and Worcestershire sauce. Add remaining spices and mix well.
  4. Pour in the stock and simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque (about 3–5 minutes).
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with lemon wedges over rice, grits, or bread.
