Description

Spinach and Pepperoncini Baked Feta Dip is a deliciously creamy appetizer that brings together tangy feta cheese, zesty pepperoncini, and rich Greek yogurt for a flavor explosion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz block feta cheese
  • 12 oz bag frozen spinach (thawed)
  • 1 cup plain whole-milk Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup mayonnaise (preferably avocado oil mayo)
  • 2 garlic cloves (grated)
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoncini peppers (roughly chopped)
  • 1½ cups grated fresh mozzarella cheese (divided)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. In a large bowl, crumble the feta cheese with a fork. Squeeze excess moisture from thawed spinach and add it to the bowl along with Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, grated garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, chopped pepperoncini, and 1 cup of mozzarella cheese. Mix until well combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
  5. Bake for 26-30 minutes until bubbly and golden around the edges. For extra crispiness, broil for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Serve warm with your choice of dippers.
