  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil in a bowl.
  2. Marinate chicken pieces in half of the sauce for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Cook marinated chicken in a skillet until golden brown (8–10 minutes).
  4. Add broccoli and bell pepper; stir-fry until tender (about 5 minutes).
  5. Pour remaining sauce mixed with cornstarch into the skillet; simmer until thickened (2–3 minutes).
  6. Serve over jasmine rice and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
