- 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
- Combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar in a measuring cup; let proof for 5-10 minutes until bubbly.
- In a stand mixer bowl, mix flour, salt, shortening, egg, vanilla extract, and the yeast mixture until combined.
