- 1.5 pounds white mushrooms
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 6 ounces cream cheese
- ½ cup grated mozzarella
- ¾ cup bread crumbs
- ½ cup grated Parmesan
- 3 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and sauté quartered mushrooms seasoned with salt and pepper until moisture evaporates (7–9 minutes). Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Stir in cream cheese until well combined. Remove from heat and mix in mozzarella, half of the breadcrumbs, and half of the Parmesan.
- Transfer the mushroom mixture to a greased baking dish.
- For the topping, combine remaining breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, and melted butter; sprinkle this over the mushroom layer.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
