  • 4 salmon fillets (5 ounces each, skin on)
  • 6 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 ounces finely shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
  • 4 tablespoons avocado oil (divided)

Instructions

  1. Preheat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Cut a pocket in each salmon fillet and season with paprika, marjoram, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar, garlic, and Cajun seasoning until smooth.
  4. Generously stuff each salmon pocket with the filling.
  5. Cook two salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet with 2 tablespoons of oil for about 6 minutes.
  6. Flip carefully using a fish spatula; add half a tablespoon of butter and cook for another 5 minutes until fully cooked.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
