Description

Experience a delightful culinary journey with Thai Potstickers with Coconut Broth. This comforting dish features tender dumplings filled with a savory blend of shredded cabbage, carrots, and chicken, all simmered in a rich and creamy coconut broth.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup grated carrots
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 package potsticker wrappers
  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the cabbage, carrots, chicken, green onions, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil until well combined.
  2. Place about 1 tablespoon of filling in the center of each potsticker wrapper. Moisten edges with water, fold in half to form a half-moon shape, and pinch to seal.
  3. Heat a large pot over medium heat. Add potstickers and cook for about 5–7 minutes until they float.
  4. In the same pot, combine coconut milk and chicken broth; stir in lime juice and fish sauce. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Carefully add cooked potstickers back into the broth and simmer for a couple of minutes before serving.
